Duties & Responsibilities:

Personal Hygiene Assistance:

Assisting clients with bathing, showering, and grooming. Helping with oral care, hair care, and nail care. Supporting clients in using the toilet or commode. 2.

Mobility and Transfers:

Safely assisting clients with transferring in and out of bed, chairs, or wheelchairs. Using mobility aids such as walkers or canes when necessary. Ensuring proper body mechanics and techniques to prevent injury to the client or oneself. 3.

Meal Preparation and Feeding:

Preparing meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Assisting with feeding if the client has difficulty eating independently. Monitoring and documenting food and fluid intake. 4.

Medication Reminders:

Reminding clients to take prescribed medications at the correct times. Assisting with medication administration under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional (if trained and authorized to do so). 5.

Light Housekeeping:

Maintaining a clean and safe living environment for the client. Performing light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up, doing laundry, and cleaning dishes. Ensuring that the client's living space is organized and clutter-free. 6.

Companionship and Emotional Support:

Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations. Offering emotional support and a caring presence to alleviate loneliness and anxiety. Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities. 7.

Safety Monitoring:

Ensuring the client's safety by identifying and addressing potential hazards in the home. Being alert to changes in the client's condition and reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members. 8.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate records of the care provided, including vital signs, daily activities, and any changes in the client's health or behavior. Reporting and documenting any incidents or accidents that occur during caregiving. 9.

Transportation:

Assisting with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or other essential errands. Ensuring the client's safety during transit. 10.

Family Communication:

Providing updates and communicating effectively with the client's family members or designated caregivers about the client's condition and care plan.

Requirements:

CNA, PCA, or 1 year experience in a healthcare facility with direct patient care experience.

Valid Driver's License Auto Insurance Reliable Transportation Pay:

From $13.00 per hour
