Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote independence and comfort Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates with precision and attention to detail Support medical procedures by preparing patients and maintaining aseptic techniques during treatments like catheter care or wound dressing changes Document patient information accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while maintaining strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication administration and patient service delivery Use patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during mobility assistance Respond promptly to patient needs, providing emotional support and ensuring their safety at all times Requirements Valid CNA certification or equivalent licensure in good standing Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques necessary for quality patient care Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper manual handling practices and assistive devices like Hoyer lifts when needed Basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Strong communication skills for effective caregiver-patient interaction and teamwork in fast-paced environments such as ICU, trauma centers, or emergency medicine settings Join us today to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. $22.57 - $27.18 per hour
