Job Description

Position Overview:

The CNA will assist the client with activities of daily living under the guidance of BrightStar Care's nursing team. You will be providing 12-hour shifts (7a-7p &/OR 7pm-7am) at a minimum of three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Empty and maintain the client's colostomy bag Assist with applying hand braces during meals and oral hygiene routines Provide respectful and attentive bedside care Transfer the client safely using a Hoyer lift Assist with dressing and bathing Support meal preparation and feeding Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment

Qualifications:

Current CNA certification in the state of Arkansas Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health, personal care, or a related field preferred Experience using a Hoyer lift required Up-to-date CPR or BLS certification Comfortable assisting with colostomy care and mobility limitations Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Excellent communication and compassionate bedside manner

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly pay based on experience and previous client care Mileage reimbursement to and from the client's residence Weekly pay and direct deposit Supportive team environment and ongoing professional development
