Qualifications:

Registered thru the State Board of Nursing Long term care experience The most basic responsibility is to ensure that all team members are adhering to the facilities dedication of promoting the best plan of care for all residents. Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education Arkansas Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA License) for one year. Medication Tech/ Medication Assistant Licensed. The program/ license must be approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. Must maintain a continuing education related to medications as required by Arkansas State Board of Nursing and any other licensing agency as appropriate. Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of physiological systems Experience in providing care for resident/patients that reside in long-term care, including memory care, hospice, and developmental disabilities Proficiency in taking vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature

Responsibilities:

Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules Document medication administration Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during medication administration 12815980890
