Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to our patients and assist with their daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.Duties:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Help with medical documentation and maintain accurate patient records
- Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission
- Assist in critical care situations and respond to emergencies as needed
- Provide memory care support for patients with cognitive impairments
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Familiarity with medical documentation systems
- Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Proficient in aseptic technique to ensure patient safety
- Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living settings is preferred
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
