Job Description

Southfork River Therapy & Living is hiring for all shift CNAs!! Now offering a $1,500 Sign On Bonus!!! Southfork River Therapy and Living is an 84 bed long term care and rehabilitation facility. We are actively seeking caring, dedicated, and loving individuals to join our family of staff and residents. The primary purpose of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
Education required:
The Certified Nursing Assistant must hold an active Arkansas Nursing Assistant Certificate.

Benefit packages including life insurance, health insurance, vision/dental insurance, and 401K. Annual employee performance evaluations with increase in wage. Duties include but are not limited to: Reporting all changes in the resident's condition to the Charge Nurse. Reporting all accidents and incidents to the Charge Nurse. Creating and maintaining an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment. Reporting all complaints and grievances made by the resident. Assisting residents with daily care; dental and mouth care (i.e., brushing teeth/dentures, oral hygiene, special oral care, etc.), hair care (combing, brushing, shampooing, etc.), nail care (clipping, trimming, cleaning fingernails and toenails •NOT including diabetic residents•), shaving as needed, pericare, and eye and ear care. Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, ambulation, toileting, eating, and all other ADLs as specified in the resident's plan of care. Maintaining accurate documentation on the resident's electronic health record. Assisting with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc. Weighing and measure residents as instructed. Answering resident call lights. Accurately collecting and recording resident vitals. Assisting with the care of the end-of-life resident. Following established isolation protocols. Working conditions include but are not limited to: Working throughout the nursing service area. Pulling or pushing the weight of another person (i.e., transfers, bed positioning, etc.) Bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Working independently and self-directed. Southfork River is an EOE.
