Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one personal care and daily-living assistance to an adult client in the client's home. The ideal candidate will be attentive, patient, comfortable providing hands-on mobility assistance, and committed to helping the client remain safe and as independent as possible. This position has a split-shift schedule. Applicants must be consistently available for both the morning and evening shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Responsibilities Assist with safe transfers between the bed and chair. Provide hands-on support during walking and other movement. Ensure the client has access to the appropriate mobility aid. Follow established fall-prevention precautions. Assist with toileting and incontinence care, including changing briefs when needed. Assist with dressing, bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Prepare regular meals and clean the kitchen afterward. Perform light laundry and other client-related household tasks. Keep essential items organized and within the client's reach. Escort the client on errands and to appointments as requested. Provide transportation using the client's vehicle when authorized. Observe and promptly report changes in the client's condition or safety. Follow the client's plan of care and document services as required. Encourage independence while providing respectful, person-centered care. Qualifications Current CNA certification in Arkansas. Previous experience providing personal care in a home-care, assisted-living, long-term-care, or similar setting. Experience with transfers, mobility assistance, personal hygiene, and fall prevention. Ability to safely provide extensive hands-on assistance and meet the physical demands of the position. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Reliable transportation to and from the client's home. Ability to pass required background and registry checks. Dependable, patient, observant, and respectful of client privacy. Comfortable working in a home with two small dogs. Must be available for all six scheduled shifts each week. Compensation and Schedule $13.00 per hour Part-time 30 hours per week
