Position Overview Haven Health Cottonwood is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to join our weekend team. The RNA works closely with nursing and therapy staff to help residents maintain and improve their mobility, functional abilities, independence, and quality of life while providing safe, respectful, person-centered care. Position Responsibilities Provide restorative nursing services according to individualized care plans and facility policies. Assist residents with mobility, strength, range of motion, positioning, transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living. Encourage participation in restorative programs while promoting dignity, independence, and personal choice. Follow restorative care plans and instructions established by nursing and therapy staff. Assist with walking, transfers, positioning, exercises, and other restorative activities as directed. Monitor residents' responses to restorative activities and promptly report changes in condition, mobility, pain, or functional ability to nursing staff. Accurately document restorative services and resident participation in accordance with facility requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents. Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Follow infection-control, safety, HIPAA, and facility policies and procedures. Maintain residents' privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times. Assist with other nursing assistant duties as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) training/certification , if required by your facility or applicable program Current, active, non-probationary Arizona CNA license. Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. Current instructor-led CPR certification. Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, restorative nursing, or rehabilitation preferred. Strong communication and documentation skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient approach when working with elderly and/or disabled residents. Ability to safely lift, move, and transfer up to 50 pounds. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and TB clearance following an offer of employment. Must be available to work the required weekend schedule. What We Offer Competitive wages with shift differentials Free room and board available for clinical staff.
