We are looking for compassionate and skilled caregivers to join our dynamic team and help us deliver top-notch care to our clients across the Phoenix area.
Job Description:
As a Floating Caregiver, you will have the unique opportunity to provide care to multiple clients throughout the day, traveling between different locations in the Eloy and surrounding areas (e.g., Arizona City, Florence, Coolidge). This role is designed for individuals who are flexible and adaptable, as your schedule will vary based on the specific care plans of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow the plan of care to deliver safe, competent care to clients. Assist clients with personal hygiene and daily living tasks. Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients. Encourage clients to remain as independent as possible according to their care plan. Provide emotional and psychological support to clients and their families. Observe and report any changes in the client's mental or physical condition. Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment. Maintain detailed and timely visit reports and client records. Collaborate with other community agencies involved in client care. Communicate regularly with supervisors about client status and any changes. Attend in-service training as required.
Job Requirements:
Must have adequate transportation to travel between client locations. Ability to drive and transport clients safely; access to a reliable vehicle. Physical ability to assist clients in and out of vehicles and homes. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds; occasional movement of client weight up to 200 pounds. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Use of basic medical equipment (e.g., BP cuff, thermometer, hoyer lift, gait belt). Must respect and maintain client confidentiality.
Qualifications:
TB test CPR and First Aid certification Fingerprint clearance card High school diploma or equivalent preferred Basic knowledge of personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation Free from health conditions that could pose a risk to clients or coworkers
