Job Description

Hours:

Every Sunday morning during sevice, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. with possible additional opportunities available as needed and scheduled by the Director of Family Ministry. Nursery Caregiver Mission Statement The Mission of the Childcare Program at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Surprise is to provide high-quality care to the children of our church members and visitors during church services and events.

Goal:

Provide a safe, nurturing, welcoming, and engaging environment which builds community and relationships between the children and the church, for children up to age three during worship and religious education on Sunday mornings, or any children needing supervision at other times.

Statement of Accountability:

Nursery Caregivers are supervised by the Director of Family Ministry, Lisa Lawrence, and Pastor Karen Richter (in the DFM's absence).

Certifications:

CPR/First Aid, Babysitter Certification Qualifications:

Must be 18+ with experience caring for infants and toddlers.
