A Nursing Assistant provides hospital and nursing home patients with basic care and assists them with daily activities. Helps patients with dressing, washing, and feeding. May perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require completion of a regional agency-approved training program in order to obtain a certification before practicing.
•Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Opportunity Overview Divine Medical Staffing Services is seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) interested in per diem shift assignments, short-term contracts, and 8- to 13-week contracted assignments at skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and memory care facilities. Professionals have the flexibility to accept or decline available assignments and provide services to participating healthcare facilities. Services May Include Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene. Obtaining, monitoring, and documenting vital signs. Assisting with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, and mobility support. Supporting resident comfort, safety, dignity, and overall well-being. Observing and reporting changes in resident condition to the facility's licensed nursing staff. Assisting with feeding, hydration, and meal-related needs. Completing required documentation in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Following infection control, safety, and resident rights guidelines established by the facility. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized resident environment. Communicating professionally with residents, families, facility staff, and healthcare team members. Requirements Current California CNA certification in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Current health screening, physical examination, TB, and immunization records as required by assigned facilities. Ability to meet all facility credentialing and onboarding requirements. Strong communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation. Ability to adapt to various healthcare environments. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Nursing Assistant training program. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required. Previous experience in senior care, or hospital environments is a plus. Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is beneficial. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks is an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
