$23.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience and licensure About Us Chico Pediatrics Medical Group is a busy, well-established pediatric practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to children and their families. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing excellent patient care and customer service. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain medical histories, vital signs, height, weight, and other clinical information Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Assist providers with examinations and procedures Administer immunizations, medications, and injections within scope of practice Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection Respond to patient and parent questions in a professional and compassionate manner Maintain exam rooms and ensure proper cleaning and stocking of supplies Clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments and equipment Assist with vaccine management and inventory as assigned Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow Follow all clinic policies, procedures, and infection control standards Qualifications Current California LVN license or Medical Assistant certification preferred Current BLS/CPR certification Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred Pediatric experience strongly preferred Experience with electronic health records required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced pediatric setting Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player Benefits (Eligible Full-Time Employees) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Flexible Schedule Schedule Monday-Friday Full-time or part-time opportunities available Flexible scheduling available based on clinic needs Work Location In Person - Chico, CA If you are passionate about pediatric healthcare and enjoy working with children and families, we would love to hear from you.
