Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and care Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting with tasks like catheter care, wound care, or medication administration under supervision Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards Use proper manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts to safely transfer patients between beds, chairs, or wheelchairs Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to nursing staff using clear communication channels Follow aseptic techniques rigorously during patient interactions to prevent infection and ensure safety in all clinical activities Experience Candidates should bring a strong foundation in patient care with experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or home health settings. Prior exposure to specialized areas like ICU, emergency medicine, hospice care, or geriatrics is highly valued. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks enhances efficiency in documentation.

Additional preferred experience includes:
