Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist with their daily activities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Document patient information accurately and promptly using electronic medical record systems.
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or developmental disabilities
• Perform patient assessments and report any changes in condition to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
• Experience working with individuals with dementia or developmental disabilities is preferred
• Proficient in taking vital signs and performing basic patient assessments
• Knowledge of sterile processing techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (eClinicalWorks, Cerner, etc.) is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
