The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This role is critical in delivering high-quality patient care and requires a strong commitment to maintaining patient dignity and privacy. Duties Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing needs. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration. Support patients with mobility, including transferring them to and from beds, wheelchairs, or other equipment. Administer medications as directed by nursing staff while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Provide basic life support in emergency situations as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Document patient care activities accurately using medical terminology. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and concerns. Assist in the preparation of patients for examinations or procedures in a clinic setting. Exhibit knowledge of anatomy to provide appropriate care tailored to individual patient needs. Requirements Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Experience in medication administration and basic life support techniques. Familiarity with emergency medicine practices is advantageous. Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures. Proficient in medical terminology relevant to patient care documentation. Experience working with children is a plus but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating independence when necessary.
