POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction. He/she will function within the standards of practice as accorded by his/her Certification. The Certified Nurses Aide performs various resident care activities and related non-professional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of residents.Job Description:
- Assist in providing nursing care to residents as assigned
- Provide assistance to the residents as needed in preparing for medical testing, activities programs, and visitation
- Assist in transporting residents to/from appointments, activity and social programs, etc., as necessary
- Reports and records observations of patient conditions
- Maintains confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program
- Must have a current/valid C.N.A certification
- Must have a High School Diploma
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must enjoy working with senior population
