The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, outpatient facilities, and long-term care environments. This position requires a strong commitment to patient service and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Provide catheter care and maintain hygiene standards for patients. Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff. Support patients during mobility tasks, including lifting and transferring as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Utilize electronic health record systems like PCC for documentation of patient information. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Engage with patients and their families to provide emotional support and education about care plans. Requirements Completion of a Nursing Assistant training program or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of patient care principles, including catheter care and basic medical procedures. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient service. Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility tasks. Current certification as a Nursing Assistant is required.
