Caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) needed for part-time or full-time position in a 6-bed residential co-ed living facility in the city of Long beach near

CSULB. CNA

is responsible for patient care, documentation, ADLs, light cooking and housekeeping.

Hours:

7am-1pm, 3pm-7pm, weekend shifts, possible overnights

•shift days vary, looking to hire as soon as possible.

Pay rate:

Negotiable, depending on experience Up to $17 to $20+/hour Positions available :

Total-care Shift Length:

2-8 hours Responsibilities Ability to assist lifting senior patients on/off their bed/chair Bathing and grooming seniors Assisting seniors to use the restroom and changing diapers Preparing homecooked meals Assist with feeding at meal times Assist with clients personal care activities Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises Perform light domestic/household tasks

•vacuuming, meal prep, washing dishes, cleaning, laundry, and folding. Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Skills Proven working experience as a Caregiver to seniors or disabled (we will train you) Proficiency in English Ability to monitor vital signs, notice and report any change in condition of senior residents Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards (we will train you) Nursing and health care administration skills (we will train you) Caring, compassionate, and patient personality Current CPR certificate (we can help get your certified) First Aid training (we can help get your certified) Valid driver's license Reliable source of transportation Must pass state-required criminal background check/LIVESCAN High school degree or GED We do NOT hire individuals that are delinquent with child support payments
