Job Description

Madera Care Center is looking for great Restorative Nurse Aides (RNAs) with CNA Certification for the PM shift (2PM-6:30AM, 4/2 rotation)! Pay range starts at $20.90/hr., depending on experience. We're looking for a compassionate, energetic Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) who is also a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to help our residents maintain—or regain—strength, mobility, and independence. In this role, you'll partner closely with nursing and rehab (PT/OT/ST) to carry out restorative programs that support safe function and meaningful daily living. What you'll do Provide hands-on restorative care per individualized restorative plans (e.g., walking programs, range-of-motion, transfers, positioning, splint/brace support, ADL reinforcement). Assist residents with mobility and functional activities using proper body mechanics and approved equipment (gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, mechanical lifts as trained). Support fall prevention and safe ambulation techniques, reinforcing therapy recommendations. Accurately document restorative interventions , resident response/tolerance, progress, and concerns per facility policy and state/federal guidelines. Monitor and report changes in condition (pain, skin integrity, endurance, mood, appetite, mobility) to the nurse promptly. Promote resident dignity and choice while delivering person-centered care . Participate in care plan meetings or restorative rounds as needed; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet goals. Perform CNA duties as assigned (bathing, toileting, feeding, vital signs, bed-making, safety checks), while prioritizing restorative goals. Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control and PPE protocols. What we're looking for Current, active CNA certification in good standing (required). Restorative training/experience in a SNF or long-term care setting (preferred; will train the right candidate). Familiarity with basic restorative techniques (ROM, ambulation, positioning, adaptive equipment) and safe transfer methods. Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable attendance and professionalism. Ability to follow written care plans and document clearly and timely . Ability to lift/assist residents and perform physical tasks of the role (with appropriate equipment and training).
