•Merced, CA About the Role MJ Nursing Assistant Training Institute is a growing CNA school in Merced. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented CNA Instructor to join our fast-paced team. This role is crucial to our mission of preparing students to become state-certified Nursing Assistants through high-quality theory and clinical instruction. We are currently accepting applications for instructors to lead weekend and weekday clinical classes. Responsibilities Train Nursing Assistant students in both Theory (Classroom/Online) and Clinical (Hands-on) settings. Prepare students for state certification exams and real-world nursing environments. Utilize Canvas and other digital tools for distance learning and classroom management. Deliver engaging lectures using PowerPoint and other instructional materials. Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs).

Qualifications & Requirements Licensure:

Current and valid California LVN License (Required).

Certifications:

DSD (Director of Staff Development) certificate.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of DSD experience. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.

Technical Skills:

Proficient with computers, PowerPoint, and Canvas (Distance Learning).

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, hands-on clinical expertise, and the ability to work in various environments (classroom, nursing home, or remote).
