Position Overview:

Assist in the care of patients under the supervision of licensed staff and assist the Certified Nursing assistants and the professional nursing staff by performing routine or less-skilled tasks in the care of patients and environment.

Essential Duties:

Answer call lights and assist in getting the correct person to help the resident. Take residents to activities and to meals. Keep patients' environment clean, such as beds, bedside stands, and wardrobe closets. Keep service areas clean and equipped, including utility rooms. Ensure proper inventory of supplies and operational equipment. Notify charge nurse of any change in patients' condition on a timely basis.
