Quincy, CA Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team in Quincy, CA. The CNA is responsible for providing quality, hands-on care and assistance to residents with their activities of daily living (ADLs). The ideal candidate is patient, respectful, attentive to residents' needs, and able to work effectively as part of a long-term-care team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Take and record vital signs and report significant changes to the appropriate nurse or healthcare provider. Observe residents for changes in condition, including changes in skin integrity, behavior, mobility, and overall well-being. Collect and communicate information regarding resident conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and healthcare providers. Answer resident call lights promptly and respond appropriately to resident needs. Turn and reposition residents as directed to promote comfort and help prevent skin breakdown. Safely transfer and assist residents between beds, chairs, wheelchairs, and other areas. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident care environment. Change bed linens and maintain resident rooms and care areas as needed. Restock supplies and notify appropriate staff when supplies are needed. Follow established resident care plans, safety procedures, infection-control practices, and facility policies. Communicate respectfully and professionally with residents, families, nurses, providers, and other members of the care team. Protect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Must have 1 year of CNA SNF experience (Required ) Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/license in good standing. Current CPR certification . Ability to communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. Ability to understand and follow resident care plans and safely carry out ADLs. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a resident-care environment. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and long-term-care staff. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, repositioning, and transferring residents. Preferred Previous CNA experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term-care, rehabilitation, or similar healthcare setting. Experience working with elderly or medically complex residents. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
