From specialized dementia support to meal preparation and companionship, our mission is to help clients maintain their independence and quality of life. We value our caregivers as much as our clients and would love for you to join our team! Client Information We are seeking an experienced and compassionate CNA caregiver for a 79-year-old client with advanced Parkinson's disease and dementia. This is a short-term respite assignment to provide relief and support for his family. Client uses a walker and is very unstable, forgetful, and at high risk for falls. He remains independent with dressing, grooming, and most personal care needs but requires supervision and non-medical assistance to remain safe at home. Responsibilities Provide standby assistance with showers and personal hygiene Prepare meals and provide hydration reminders Follow fall precautions and closely monitor safety Provide transportation to appointments and errands Offer companionship and meaningful engagement Provide general supervision and well-being checks Assist with safe mobility while using his walker Qualifications CNA certification Strong professional caregiving experience Experience caring for clients with Parkinson's disease and dementia preferred Knowledge of fall prevention and safety precautions Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Compassionate, patient, dependable, and attentive Must be able to pass a background check Benefits Competitive pay Supportive office and caregiving team Meaningful opportunity to support a client and his family Positive and caring work environment If you are an experienced CNA caregiver who is committed to providing safe and compassionate care, we would love to hear from you!
