Job Description
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Help patients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Provide support for medical procedures and treatments as directed by nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and changes in condition.
- Assist with catheter care and other specialized tasks as required in acute care settings. Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office, hospital, or outpatient clinic is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with memory care practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical-surgical procedures is beneficial for effective patient care.
- Experience with catheter care is desirable for roles involving more complex patient needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and their families.
Pay:
$24.00- $26.
