Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems Support patient transfer methods utilizing equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensure safe manual handling practices Observe and report changes in patient condition, behavior, or symptoms to nursing staff promptly and clearly Maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring proper medical documentation Help with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, or behavioral health support Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics,, or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (BLS) certification preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care for accurate documentation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper lifting practices and equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and caregivers Critical care experience or background in post-acute care is highly valued Join us in delivering compassionate patient-centered care that transforms lives!
