Certified Nursing Assistant- Outpatient Full Time

Duties Assist with calling patients to provide pre-op instructions and post-op follow-up Assist the sterile processing department with decontaminating and sterilizing instruments. Ensuring all documentation for the patient is up-to-date Ensuring patients are acceptable candidates for surgery Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Support patients with transporting patients during OR turnover and after discharge. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold the highest standards of medical documentation and confidentiality. Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infection control Skills Proven experience working with individuals with vision impairment. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs assessment. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems; familiarity with medical records management. Experience in outpatient surgery center. Ability to work in a sterile environment. Knowledge of infection control practices, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation standards. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with healthcare teams and educate patients on treatment plans.
