6:30 AM - 3:00 PM 2-3 days per week Flexible schedule based on facility needs; schedule is not set weekly About the Opportunity AlliedUP is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a 59-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in San Jose, CA . CNAs will provide hands-on, resident-centered care while supporting residents' dignity, safety, comfort, and overall well-being. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with the potential for long-term placement. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Support residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation. Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining dignity and respect. Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or behavioral condition to the Charge Nurse or nursing leadership. Document care provided accurately and timely. Assist with meals and monitor residents' nutritional needs. Follow individualized care plans and nursing instructions. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents. Follow infection control procedures, safety standards, and facility policies. Communicate effectively with nursing staff and members of the interdisciplinary care team. Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements. Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred. Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic resident care practices. Ability to assist residents with mobility, transfers, and daily care needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care.
