Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem About Us JCH Medicare Services Hospice Provider is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team in Torrance, California. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care that promotes comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients and their families. Position Summary The Hospice CNA provides personal care and supportive services to hospice patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with the patient's established plan of care. The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, dependable, and comfortable providing hands-on care to patients in their homes and other care settings. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care according to the established plan of care. Provide bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting, and other personal care assistance. Assist with repositioning, transfers, mobility, and ambulation as appropriate. Help maintain patient comfort, cleanliness, dignity, and safety. Observe and promptly report changes in the patient's condition or needs to the supervising nurse. Assist with changing bed linens and maintaining a clean and comfortable patient environment. Provide companionship and compassionate emotional support to patients and their families. Follow infection-control procedures and safety practices. Complete required visit documentation accurately and on time. Communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, and other members of the hospice care team. Follow the hospice plan of care, agency policies, and applicable state and federal requirements. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. Qualifications Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Previous CNA experience preferred; hospice, home health, skilled nursing, or related experience is a plus. Compassionate and respectful approach to patients receiving end-of-life care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, professional, and able to work independently in a field-based environment. Ability to perform the physical duties associated with providing personal patient care. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for patient visits.

Compensation & Benefits Pay:

Competitive compensation based on experience and employment status. Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities may be available.
