7-3PM and 3-11PM shifts ALL Full Time Positions are on a 4/2 schedule which will include weekends. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to become a part of our facility's compassionate caregiving team. The CNA will interact directly with patients, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring their vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide basic care such as changing linens, assisting with repositioning, and providing mobility support. Document patient care activities accurately and promptly, maintaining confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations. Support patient nutrition by serving meals, assisting with feeding, and monitoring intake and output. Maintain patient safety by ensuring the proper use of restraints, following infection control protocols, and implementing fall prevention measures. Assist with basic treatments such as applying nonsterile dressings, ice packs, and heat treatments as directed by nursing staff. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a positive care experience and address patient needs. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain CNA certification and stay updated on best practices in patient care. Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of California. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association. 1 year experience as a CNA preferred; 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of basic nursing care techniques, patient hygiene, and infection control procedures. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to follow instructions, perform routine tasks, and document care accurately.
