Job Summary y Department team as an Emergency Care Tech! As a CNA in our ED you will be one of the first clinical employees to be a part of the patients care! This position is essential in providing high-quality, patient-centered care under the direction of licensed nursing staff. Why join Carroll Hospital? Practice at the top of your license with autonomy in clinical decision-making. Work alongside experienced interdisciplinary teams across high-acuity patient populations. Responsibilities Assist nurses by gathering patient data through observation, obtaining vital signs, and performing point-of-care testing. Perform routine patient care procedures safely and competently. Ensure timely communication and documentation, including reporting significant patient changes to nursing staff. Provide frequent rounding and fall prevention interventions; remain with high-risk patients when needed. Support patient flow through timely admissions, transfers, and discharges, including documentation and removal of IV locks. Collaborate with nursing staff to support a positive and efficient care environment.
