Responsibilities:

Create safe, welcoming environment for infants and toddlers. Share Jesus' love with children by praying with them and reading Christian children's books. Prepare nursery space for parents and children to watch worship service on TV simulcast. Arrive prior to worship to welcome children, greet their parents, and alert church staff/elders/ushers of nursery availability. Comply with all nursery guidelines and procedures in nursery handbook. Implement safe drop off, check in, and pick up procedures. Supervise safe play for children during Sunday morning worship services, education hour, and "gathering time" before and after those events. Demonstrate safe handling of bodily fluids and feces utilizing Standard Precautions. Record an easily accessible list of allergies as reported by parents. Clean toys, changing table, and nursery furniture.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent Childcare experience Ability to safely lift and carry infants and toddlers (up to 40 pounds). Warm, friendly personality Demonstrate the following certifications within 3 months of employment hire: First Aid CPR Standard Precautions Pass criminal background check Age 21 or older
