Active license of Colorado.Job Summary:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.
- Monitor and document residents' health status , including vital signs, intake and output, changes in condition, and promptly report concerns to the nursing staff.
- Provide safe patient transfers and positioning using proper body mechanics and assistive devices to prevent injuries and maintain resident comfort.
- Support infection prevention and safety protocols by maintaining a clean environment, following standard precautions, and adhering to facility policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver individualized resident care, respond to call lights, and provide emotional support to residents and their families.
