Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Gunnison, CO. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents by assisting with daily living activities and supporting the nursing team to ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and compassionate care. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Monitor and record residents' vital signs and report changes to the nursing staff. Assist with transferring, repositioning, and ambulating residents safely. Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and observations. Ensure residents' comfort, dignity, and safety at all times. Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights. Keep resident rooms clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures. Collaborate with nurses and the healthcare team to provide quality resident care. Requirements Active Colorado CNA License (or eligible to work in Colorado). Minimum 3 years of CNA experience , preferably in Long-Term Care. Current BLS Certification (preferred). Colorado Adult Protective Services ( CAPS ) check required. Experience with PointClickCare (Point Click) EMR is preferred. Must be willing to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. Reliable transportation is required, as public transportation is not available in Gunnison.
