Support patient transfer methods using safe lifting practices and assist with basic vital signs monitoring when needed. Coordinate with clinical teams to facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring seamless communication. Uphold infection control protocols such as aseptic technique during interactions and maintain a clean, organized reception area. Assist with administrative tasks including managing medical records, processing paperwork, and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information. Qualifications Valid CNA certification with active licensure in good standing. Experience working in medical office settings or healthcare environments such as long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or hospitals. Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR/Epic/eClinicalWorks/Cerner) systems for documentation purposes. Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration support, and basic patient care procedures. Prior experience working with diverse populations including geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia, and those requiring specialized memory or hospice care. Strong communication skills paired with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly in compliance with HIPAA standards. Ability to perform light physical tasks such as manual handling and heavy lifting when necessary while maintaining safe lifting practices. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments like urgent care or emergency medicine settings; ICU or trauma center experience is a plus.
