•Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting patient well-being, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and maintaining high standards of safety and confidentiality. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals by delivering direct care, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring comfort and dignity for all individuals under your care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities LTC/Skilled Nursing/Short term Rehab halls Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, including the safe operation of equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates. Support patients with medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and proper hand hygiene practices. Assist with patient transfers and positioning using safe lifting practices to prevent injury to patients and staff. Document patient care activities thoroughly in medical records while maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program; additional certifications such as CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) are preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks involving physical strength and endurance. Strong communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
