CNAs provide essential hands-on care while helping residents maintain their dignity, comfort, safety, and independence.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living Help residents with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility Take and document vital signs, weights, intake, output, and other required information Answer call lights promptly and respond to residents' needs Assist with meals and provide feeding support when needed Observe residents for physical, emotional, or behavioral changes and report concerns to the nurse Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms Follow residents' care plans, infection-control practices, and facility policies Treat every resident with dignity, patience, and respect Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications:

Current CNA certification in good standing CPR certification preferred Long-term care or skilled-nursing experience preferred but not required Ability to lift, transfer, reposition, and assist residents safely Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable attendance and a resident-centered attitude Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings
