Job Description

Park Forest Care Center LLC Park Forest Care Center is seeking a dependable and professional Weekend Receptionist / CNA to support our front desk operations while also assisting on the nursing floor as needed. This position is ideal for a CNA who is organized, friendly, comfortable interacting with residents and families, and willing to help wherever needed. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate department or staff member. Greet residents, visitors, families, vendors, and other guests entering the facility. Ensure visitors properly sign in and out according to facility procedures. Assist with monitoring resident sign-in and sign-out when residents leave or return to the facility. Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming front desk area. Assist residents, families, and visitors with basic questions and direct them to the appropriate staff member when necessary. Communicate important information or concerns to nursing or administrative staff. Perform general receptionist and clerical duties as assigned. Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policy. When needed due to staffing or resident-care needs, work on the nursing floor as a CNA and provide direct resident care within the scope of CNA responsibilities. Assist residents with activities of daily living, transfers, mobility, toileting, meals, and other care needs when working as a CNA. Follow all infection-control, safety, documentation, and resident-rights requirements. Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing. Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Comfortable answering phones and interacting with residents, families, and visitors. Dependable and able to work independently at the front desk. Must be willing and able to transition to CNA floor duties when staffing needs arise. Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week
