Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times Monitor vital signs and observe changes in patient condition, promptly reporting any concerns to nursing staff Support medication administration under supervision, following strict protocols and safety procedures Maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments, utilizing techniques like aseptic procedures and memory care strategies Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids to ensure safe patient transfers Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute settings to deliver comprehensive patient service Uphold HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all patient information while maintaining meticulous medical records Assist with procedures like catheter care or phlebotomy when trained and authorized to do so Support patients with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs through compassionate caregiving tailored to individual requirements Qualifications Valid certification as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or PCA (Patient Care Assistant) with current state licensing where applicable Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care Prior experience in critical care areas such as
ICU, PICU
