CNA:
As a vital member of our care team, you will provide direct, compassionate care to our residents, assisting them with activities of daily living and ensuring their comfort and safety. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assisting residents with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming). Aiding with mobility and transfers, including ambulation and turning. Assisting with feeding and monitoring fluid intake. Taking and recording vital signs accurately. Documenting observations and reporting any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff promptly. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents. Engaging residents in meaningful conversation and activities, fostering a sense of community and well-being. Responding to resident call lights in a timely and caring manner.
What You'll Bring:
Current and active Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) certification in the State of Connecticut. High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach. A strong commitment to person-centered care and the dignity of every individual. Reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
