Job Description

Brightview Senior Living is seeking an Overnight Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, resident-first care in our vibrant senior living community. In this role, you'll support assisted living and memory care residents with nighttime routines, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility, while closely monitoring their comfort and safety. You'll document care, report changes to nursing staff, and follow infection control and privacy standards. You'll work with a supportive, team-oriented staff, receive training and growth opportunities, and make a meaningful impact on seniors' lives every shift. Responsibilities Provide hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting during overnight shifts Monitor residents' safety, wellbeing, and comfort, responding promptly to call bells and needs Assist with transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics and equipment Take and record vital signs and document care in accordance with community policies Support residents with nighttime routines, reassurance, and comfort measures Maintain clean, safe resident spaces and follow infection control procedures Observe and report changes in residents' physical or cognitive status to nursing staff Collaborate with nurses and care team to deliver individualized care plans Follow HIPAA and community confidentiality and safety standards Participate in required trainings and contribute to a positive, respectful team culture Required Skills Personal care assistance (ADLs) Vital signs measurement and documentation Safe patient handling and transfers Infection control practices Electronic health record or care documentation Observation and reporting of condition changes Basic dementia and memory care support HIPAA and resident privacy compliance CPR and basic life support Teamwork and communication in clinical settings
