Job Description

We are seeking FT or PT 2nd Shift
NO OTHER SHIFTS AVAILABLE
The position you are applying for is an essential place of employment. You must be able to work, even with snow and inclement weather. 2nd shift between 2:00-10:00pm Minimum 1 year experience preferred but not mandatory working as
CNA, HHA, PCA.
Some weekends are mandatory and some Holidays are mandatory Flexibility with schedule is required Criminal and motor vehicle background checks, and a Department of Developmental Services registry check are mandatory. There are also certain criteria that we must follow if you have had convictions or pending arrest that DDS will not allow and that is beyond our control as the employer.
Job duties are as follows:
Assist in daily living needs, bathe, personal care, meal prep and assistance with feeding, daily programs and therapy for 14 adults with disabilities. Caring for a family with a wide range of disabilities including CP, MR, TBI, total care, ventilators, G-tubes, J-tubes, trach's. Must be able to lift 90 pounds or more, for stand and pivot transfers, transfers. Personal care pushing pulling turning of family members necessary. Household chores, cleaning, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, laundry, meal prep, spring and fall cleaning, and seasonal clothing change over. Outdoor work including gardening and year round care for safety of family members as well as set ups for celebrations Assist with family needs such as parties, decorating for holidays, assist or accompany with appointments, holidays, trips and outings. Must be outgoing and be available to be part of many of the activities, family functions, and holidays. One to one relationships with family members is an absolute must. This is an important requirement of this job. You will be required to be available specific days such as holidays, annual day of caring, our annual golf tournament, parties, outings, and family functions.
Pay:
$23.50 per hour
