U-Turn Health is hiring Caregivers / HHAs / PCAs / Companions / CNAs for rewarding in‑home care jobs (day/weekend shifts) serving adults in Thomaston and nearby Connecticut towns. About U‑Turn Health U‑Turn Health is a locally owned home care agency providing high‑quality, person‑centered in‑home caregiving services so adults can stay independent, safe, and comfortable at home instead of moving to a facility. We are looking for dependable Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHA), Personal Care Assistants (PCA), Companions, Direct Support Professionals (DSP), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who love helping people. Caregiver / HHA / PCA / CNA Responsibilities As an in‑home caregiver, you will: Provide transportation to appointments Support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) : bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility assistance. Help with Instrumental ADLs (IADLs) : meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, local errands/grocery shopping and appointments. Provide companionship and safety supervision : friendly conversation, games and activities, walks, and regular safety checks. Follow the individualized home care plan for each client and document visits in our mobile app. Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition, safety, behavior, or schedule to the office promptly. Great Fit If You:
Drive and Have your Own Vehicle . Are reliable , compassionate, and patient, and treat clients like family. Have experience as a Caregiver, HHA, PCA, DSP, Companion, CNA, Home Care Aide, Personal Care Aide, Resident Assistant, or Direct Care Worker (any/all welcome). Are open to training — we will train motivated and reliable candidates who want to grow in home care and caregiving . Have reliable transportation to travel to client homes in and around Naugatuck. Can use a smartphone to clock in/out , read care plans, and complete visit notes. Are comfortable working independently in a client's home, following agency policies and state regulations. Programs & Clients We Serve We provide non‑medical home care services to adults through: Connecticut Medicaid Waiver programs :
ABI II, PCA
Waiver, CHCPE, Foster/FMLA and related CT home‑ and community‑based services. Private pay home care clients needing companionship, personal care, and household support. You'll gain valuable experience with a variety of complex care needs while working one‑on‑one in the client's home environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in home care, home health, assisted living, group homes, residential programs, or nursing homes . CNA, HHA, PCA, or other caregiving experience (formal or informal family caregiving). Ability to pass background checks and meet state requirements. Why Work With U‑Turn Health?
