Under the direct supervision of the Practice Coordinator or his/her designee, the Women's Health Services Clinical Assistant will assist the Coordinator in providing direct care to patients. In this role the Women's Health Services Clinical Assistant will assist with patient care, assist coordinator with procedures, set up and breakdown exam rooms, including cleaning of equipment, documenting vital signs and report findings to the coordinator. They will perform clerical duties such as answering the phone and assisting patients to get information from the staff considering the patient experience. The Women's Health Services Clinical Assistant will maintain supplies on the unit assisting with inventory and doing out dates. The Women's Health Services Clinical Assistant will help collect and properly label specimens and transport to lab. Other tasks as assigned will be expected. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent Active State of CT Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) certification BLS certification required or completion within the first three months of employment. Bilingual Spanish- English language skills preferred We take great care of careers.
