Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides & Caregivers with CNA certification to provide exceptional in-home and community-based care. This role involves supporting patients with their daily needs, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. Ideal candidates will have experience in senior care, long-term care, or working with individuals with disabilities, including dementia and Alzheimer's care. The position offers opportunities to work in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private residences, emphasizing patient-centered care and adherence to healthcare regulations including HIPAA. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor and observe patient conditions, reporting changes or concerns promptly Document patient information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare meals and assist with meal planning tailored to dietary needs Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry and cleaning to maintain a safe environment Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patient well-being Assist with medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records for ongoing care management Qualifications Valid CNA certification or equivalent caregiving credentials required Experience working in home health, hospice care, long-term care, or assisted living preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Certifications in CPR and first aid required; additional training in dementia, Alzheimer's, or hospice care is a plus Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve patients' quality of life Ability to work flexible hours including live-in employment options if applicable Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information This position is ideal for caring professionals committed to providing high-quality home health services. $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
