Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time Night Shift Northwest Florida Community Hospital (NFCH) is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU) on a full-time night shift.

Position Summary:

The CNA provides direct patient care and assists residents with activities of daily living while promoting their comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, and works well as part of a healthcare team.

Essential Duties:

Provide quality, compassionate care to residents under the direction of nursing staff. Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and other activities of daily living. Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information as assigned. Assist with repositioning, transfers, ambulation, and maintaining patient safety. Answer call lights promptly and respond appropriately to resident needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment. Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the nurse. Assist nursing staff with patient care and other duties within the CNA scope of practice. Follow all hospital policies, procedures, infection-control standards, and safety guidelines. Provide respectful and compassionate care while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. Previous experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or hospital setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential. Must demonstrate professionalism, compassion, patience, and a commitment to quality patient care.
