Job Description

Vi Living, a luxury senior living provider, seeks a full-time Day Shift Certified Nursing Assistant for our assisted living community. In this role you'll provide hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals while ensuring resident dignity, safety, and comfort. You'll take and record vital signs, observe and report changes, and follow individualized care plans. Working in a supportive, resident-first culture, you'll collaborate with nurses and care staff, follow infection-control standards, and build meaningful relationships with older adults. Responsibilities Provide daily personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care for assisted living residents Assist residents with safe transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility devices while following fall-prevention practices Take, document, and report vital signs and other observations in accordance with care plans and community policies Support residents during meals, including set-up, feeding assistance, and monitoring intake and hydration Follow individualized care plans, documenting care provided and promptly reporting changes in condition to nursing staff Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment in resident rooms and common areas Apply infection-control and safety procedures in all resident interactions and tasks Engage residents with empathy and respect, fostering meaningful relationships and emotional support Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident-focused care Participate in training and ongoing education to maintain skills, certifications, and compliance with regulations Required Skills Resident personal care Vital signs monitoring Electronic health record documentation Infection control Safe transfer and mobility assistance Observation and reporting of condition changes Basic wound and skin care support Time management Team collaboration in care setting Customer service in senior living
