Job Description

Assisting Hands Home Care South Jacksonville is hiring compassionate CNAs, HHAs, and experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one care for seniors in Jacksonville and Clay County. If you're tired of facility chaos and want consistent clients, supportive office staff, and meaningful one-on-one care, we'd love to talk with you. Full-time and part-time shifts available.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an in-home caregiver, you'll help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities may include:

Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) Mobility and transfer assistance Meal preparation Light housekeeping Medication reminders Companionship and emotional support Monitoring changes in condition Daily care note documentation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for dependable caregivers who genuinely care about their clients and take pride in providing excellent care.

Requirements:

Active Florida CNA license OR HHA certification Current in-person CPR certification Alzheimer's/Dementia, HIV/AIDS, and Self-Administration of Medication training (can complete online if needed) Reliable transportation Weekend and/or weekday availability

Compensation:
