CNA/HHA Abby Pediatric Care Fort Myers, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $17 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Childcare CPR Certification BLS Certification Working with pediatric populations Child CPR Pediatrics CNA Full Job Description Overview As a CNA/HHA, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to kids. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting children with daily living activities, monitoring their health status, and ensuring their overall well-being. This position requires a dedicated individual who is skilled in pediatric patient care. Must have one (1) year experience in the care of infants and toddlers. Hold a current certification in pediatric CPR. Responsibilities Assist children with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Assist with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Provide basic housekeeping services including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure the safety and comfort of clients while promoting independence in their daily routines. Skills Proficient in patient observation and assessment techniques. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology related to caregiving and patient care. Pediatric CPR certification is highly desirable along with experience in infants/toddlers care. Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities or require long-term care support. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Competence in cooking nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs.
