Job Description

PATCHES PPEC
is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Fort Pierce, Florida. Our CNAs work alongside nurses and therapists to provide high-quality, hands-on care to children with complex medical needs in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) setting. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, reliable, and comfortable working with children who may require assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, feeding, positioning, hygiene, and other supportive care needs.
Responsibilities include:
Assist children with activities of daily living, including feeding, toileting, dressing, and hygiene Support safe positioning, transfers, and mobility Monitor children and promptly report changes or concerns to the nursing team Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Assist nurses and therapists with daily care as directed Provide compassionate, age-appropriate support to children and families Follow facility policies, infection-control procedures, and individualized plans of care Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary PPEC team
Qualifications:
Current Florida CNA certification Minimun 1 year experience in child care Current CPR/BLS certification Level 2 background screening eligibility Dependable attendance and strong communication skills Compassionate and team-oriented attitude
