Job Description

Job Overview We are Veteran Owned and Operated, seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide to provide essential support to Our Local VA clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to observe and report changes in the client's condition. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry. Assist with mobility, including lifting and transferring clients safely. Monitor patient health by observing changes in condition and reporting them to healthcare professionals. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with catheter care when necessary. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Support clients in engaging with community resources for long-term care needs. Experience 3-5 years previous experience in home community care or long-term care settings is required. Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus. Up to Date Certifications in
CPR, HIV/AIDS
Training, Alzheimer's/Dementia Training. HIPAA, Assisting with Self Administered Meds, and Infection Control is required. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring are essential. Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and safety protocols when assisting clients is required. Experience with basic cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic living environment for clients is important.
